How to become a firefighter (Instructions)

1- To become a firefighter in California, you will have to take written exams****, physical tests,    psychological exams and background check then the oral interview. Just go to your local fire department website and check some information.

2- You will have to pass the written exams. These exams include more than 150 multiple-choice questions. The competitions in these exams are very high. After you finish the written exams, you will rank from highest to lowest. The more you study for these exams, the higher you will score.You have to study hard for these exams.

3- After the written exams in California fire department, you will go through the physical tests. The part is the main part to become a firefighter in California. The physical exams are taken to prepare you for the fire outbreaks. Agility, Stamina and aerobic energy are the main tests. Also you will take psychological exams   

4- Then, after the physical exams, you will take the medical exams. Your temperature, height and blood pressure will be checked then the Drug testing will be done for you.
