Many of us were dreaming of being a firefighter and maybe we were attracted to this because of the firefighter clothes, saving people and the adventures of the firefighter! But now we should know what the firefighter does and how to become a firefighter.
Being a firefighter is dangerous job as you are going to be endangered and the fire will surround you at this job. You have to know that if you want be a firefighter , you will face two sides for this job ; challenges and rewards and we can say that the rewards is a motivation for the new firefighter. You will save lives every day and you will be remembered for this work. Not only saving people is your permanent job, you will have to teach people how to act during a sudden fire outbreak, give them advises and how to become a firefighter at home.
If you want becomes a firefighter, you will have to have some general qualifications. IN every state in the USA there are different requirements for this job but they agree at the general requirements like:
1- You have to between 18 years and 29.
2- You should have a genuine high school diploma certificate.
3- You should be physically prepared.

4- You must have a good sight and hearing
You will have a special examination by a doctor in the firefighters headquarter. Also you must have a clean driving record if you have a driving license, and the most important is to have a clean criminal record.
You will have to answer about 150 questions and the exams for how to become a firefighter are different from state to another
You’re most important advice in this career is that you shouldn't panic in any situation; you should be calm and learn how to handle the situation by yourself. If you panic, you will put your life and you team's life endanger. If you can't be like this in the situation, just leave the job.
You can find courses for firefighters in colleges and universities. You will find fire engineering from which you will learn some of the firefighter’s techniques.
After you finish the training time you will have to pass a written test and then you will be examined for and endurance and stamina examination in which you will face some hard physical tests. The one who pass or get a high degree in these tests will have a high position in the firefighting career.
You will be trained with some highly experienced firefighters to learn how to be a firefighter who can control the spread and the outbreak of the fire at any situation by different ways. You will have much equipment in the firefighting and you will learn how to use them.The job becomes more popular everyday to the people
